Students in Emily Nagle’s physics class had a shockingly good time on Thursdays as they learned about electrostatic forces. ⚡️ Utilizing a Van de Graaf generator and a Tesla coil, our Falcons were able to observe electrical arcs, make their hair stand on end and create a circuit to light up a fluorescent light bulb! Students also learned about the science behind why one’s hair stands on end when lightning is about to strike – and what to do to stay safe if that situation ever occurs. We love see
